The circuit board has only a handful of parts. There was no need to attempt anything smaller because of the size of the display and case. |

The display is getting weak most probably because of failing capacitors in the power supply cause inadequate voltage. A few measurements and replacements might help greatly! |

This clock is an AC powered device. Actually, that means it's pretty accurate
(based on the local power company). However it contains no battery backup... Although there is no easy way to tell the date of manufacture... |
