board.jpg (80100 bytes) The circuit board has only a handful of parts.  There was no need to attempt anything smaller because of the size of the display and case.
display.jpg (13474 bytes) The display is getting weak most probably because of failing capacitors in the power supply cause inadequate voltage.  A few measurements and replacements might help greatly!

How do you set the clock?
label.jpg (52131 bytes) This clock is an AC powered device.  Actually, that means it's pretty accurate (based on the local power company).  However it contains no battery backup...

Although there is no easy way to tell the date of manufacture...

ns322.jpg (31237 bytes) This IC by National Semiconductor was made in 1972.
ns328.jpg (70399 bytes) This IC by National Semiconductor was made in 1972.
reva.jpg (30865 bytes) I don't know if there was another version of this clock / calculator, but this board was revision "A"!
